Los sitios web personales son muy divertidos, ya que siempre hay links que te llevas a páginas nuevas. Básicamente es una cadena de links gigante que te permite ver contenido relacionado. He llegado a conocer varias páginas web diferentes gracias a los links que todos tienen dentro de sus páginas web. Personal websites are a lot of fun because there are always links that take you to new pages. It's basically a giant chain of links that allows you to explore related content. I've come to know several different websites thanks to the links they have within their webpages.
La mejor parte es que, no son links cualquiera los que están en una página web, sino que el creador del sitio los ha puesto ahí porque en verdad disfruta visitar esas páginas. The best part is that these are not just any links that are on a webpage; the creator of the site has put them there because they truly enjoy visiting those pages.
Kazantroten no es la excepción, y he agregado links a las páginas web que son bonitas y divertidas dentro del botón donde dice Links. Exponixio y Tiramisú son dos amigos que tienen blogs, y como no tenían un botón propio les hice uno rápidamente jaja, para que vaya de acuerdo con el resto de los links. Y luego están las páginas web personales que fui conociendo aquí en Neocities (y fuera de Neocities también) que me parecen muy creativas y con bastante contenido. Kazantroten is no exception, and I have added links to beautiful and fun websites within the Links button. Exponixio and Tiramisú are two friends who have blogs, and since they didn't have their own buttons, I quickly made them one to match the rest of the links. And then there are the personal websites that I have come across here on Neocities (and outside of Neocities as well) that I find very creative and filled with interesting content.

La mayoría de los sitios cuenta con un botón de 88x31 para que su página web pueda ser linkeada en otros sitios. Es divertido ver el diseño de cada botón, ya que tienen un espacio limitado para expresar la personalidad de su página. Yo la verdad no sabía que poner dentro del mío, así que lo llené de emojis de aves (porque me gustan las aves). Y le puse un degradado para que no se vea tan básico. Para hacerlo, usé la página web de Hekate2. Es fácil de usar y puedes crear tu botón rápidamente. Most sites have an 88x31 button so that their website can be linked on other sites. It's fun to see the design of each button, as they have limited space to express the personality of their page. I honestly didn't know what to put in mine, so I filled it with bird emojis (because I like birds). And I added a gradient to make it look less plain. To create it, I used the website Hekate2. It's easy to use, and you can quickly create your own button.
También he visto que, cuando una página no tiene un botón, simplemente se la vincula con un hipervínculo y ya. Y esto también crea una lista gigante de links en los cuales perderte y estar entretenido por bastante tiempo. Pude haber hecho eso con los blogs de mis amigos, pero animé a hacerles botones muy básicos (aún debo aprender a diseñar jaja). I have also noticed that when a page doesn't have a button, it is simply linked with a hyperlink. And this creates a giant list of links to get lost in and be entertained for quite some time. I could have done that with my friends' blogs, but I encouraged them to make very basic buttons (I still need to learn how to design, haha).
Y bueno, la mejor forma de navegar esta parte del internet es siguiendo todos los enlaces que encuentres por ahí. Hay enlaces incluso en las imágenes y te llevan a lugares que no creías que existían dentro de una página web. And well, the best way to navigate this part of the internet is by following all the links you come across. There are even links within images that take you to places you never thought existed within a webpage.
Links muertos Dead Links
Mientras estaba explorando diversos links, leí uno que se llamaba Interacting with other websites de 32-bit cafe. Ya que regresé hace poco a esto de hacer contenido para mi sitio web, se vio como un artículo ideal para conocer como participar más dentro de esta comunidad. While exploring various links, I came across one called Interacting with other websites by 32-bit cafe. Since I recently returned to creating content for my website, it seemed like an ideal article to learn more about participating in this community.
Sin embargo, al darle clic al link, me di con la sorpresa que la página web no estaba disponible (en ese entonces, pensaba que la página dejó de existir, sin embargo, simplemente no estaba disponible el servidor). However, when I clicked on the link, I was surprised to find that the webpage was not available (at that time, I thought the page ceased to exist, but it was simply unavailable on the server).

Así que, si algún día te topas con un link que te lleva a un sitio inexistente, intenta buscarlo en The Wayback Machine, y puede ser que lo llegues a encontrar. They also have a section on their website called The Wayback Machine, which takes snapshots of various websites to preserve them over time. So, if you ever come across a link that leads to a nonexistent site, try searching for it on The Wayback Machine, and you may be able to find it.
La verdad no sabía cómo hacían para elegir que páginas iban a ser preservadas, pero lo hacen de forma automática según los links que van recopilando. Antes de que sepa esto, me di con la sorpresa que, Kazantroten tiene una screenshot dentro de su base de datos (finales del 2022). Así que mi página de inicio se encuentra preservada por el Internet Archive, así como muchas otras páginas web. Y así, mantienen viva a la historia del internet. =) I didn't actually know how they chose which pages to preserve, but they do it automatically based on the links they collect. Before I knew this, I was surprised to find that Kazantroten has a screenshot in their database (from late 2022). So my homepage is preserved by the Internet Archive, as well as many other webpages. And that's how they keep the history of the internet alive. =)
